Situated on a south facing slope in the heart of the Kent's beautiful countryside between Tenterden and Ashford, Woodchurch Wine Estate has the perfect location, aspect and climate for grape growing.
The vineyard is spread over more than 12 acres of land and will be dedicated to growing grapes for sparkling wine production. Over 10,000 vines of the classic champagne varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier will be planted on a range of rootstock and clones to create a true assemblage of flavours in the finished wine.
The first harvest is expected in 2012.
